World Darts Championship Results: Luke Humphries Claims Victory after a phenomenal performance
In a spectacular final match, Luke Humphries secured the title of World Champion by defeating the 16-year-old sensation, Luke Littler. The 28-year-old Humphries, already a winner at the World Grand Prix, Grand Slam of Darts, and Players Championship Finals, displayed a remarkable performance, clinching victory and lifting the iconic Sid Waddell Trophy on a record-breaking night in London.
Premier League Line-Up Announced
The stage is set for the 2024 BetMGM Premier League Darts, and the lineup promises a season filled with excitement and great competition. Luke Humphries, now the world champion, will make his highly-anticipated Premier League debut, headlining alongside the teenage sensation, Luke Littler.
Reigning champion Michael van Gerwen is also set to star in the eight-player field for the upcoming season. Littler, having generated global headlines and shattered records during his extraordinary World Championship campaign, will be making his Premier League debut.

With the conclusion of the World Darts Championship, there are notable updates in the PDC Order of Merit. The main ranking is based on the prize money won over a two-year period by players in ranking tournaments. Luke Humphries takes the top spot with £1,495,500 in earnings. Michael van Gerwen and Michael Smith follow on the second and third place. There are quite a few changes in the top 32, with rising stars and seasoned players making their mark on the leaderboard.
